This month marks a monumental milestone for TAPI: we've shipped our 100,000th instrument!
Founded in 1988, TAPI shipped its 25,000th instrument in 2005 and its 50,000th instrument in 2012. Thanks to our customers and partners, we've been able to reach the next major milestone. “This is an outstanding achievement for our business as we continuously strive to improve," said Brian Byrne, Vice President of Operations. “This is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our team members across all functions."
TAPI's more than 200 employees commemorated this achievement by signing the box, gathering for a company-wide photo, and enjoying an ice cream social at our headquarters and factory in San Diego, CA.
The 100,000th instrument was delivered to South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). Fun fact: South Coast was also the recipient of our 50,000th instrument.
